Homeowners Kris and Michael Villiott now enjoy the magical twilight of their new home in South Lake Union...literally! The home is one of eight homes designed by Stanwood architect Dan Nelson that float on the South Lake Union dock. Nelson used the boxy structure in order to get the most out of the space and created a wharf-warehouse feel on the outside of the home through the use of rugged exteriors. As you enter the home, the main floor creates a warm Northwestern feel with wood flourishes motorized garage doors that open the room up to the lake. Amazing glass tile back splash can be found around the home including the kitchen and main floor powder room. The second floor is reached by use of the custom floating staircase. And for the golf-lovers out there, the rooftop doubles as a putting green.
